Holiday Facilities

The layout of the holiday house permit rooms to be made available to best suit the mix, number and age of guests staying at any one time.

The basic configuration we have named BlueSeas, accommodates up to six guests and includes a Living room, Dining room, Kitchen, Laundry, separate Toilet, Bathroom and three Bedrooms (queen, double and bunk beds).

For up to eight guests or to meet particular requirements, an additional area we call, GreenSeas is made available to provide a further queen Bedroom, en-suite style Bathroom, Sitting room and Utility area.  The total house known as AquaSeas is made available by the combination of BlueSeas and the GreenSeas area.  

As a general rule, GreenSeas is not separately rented whilst BlueSeas is occupied.

The following floor plan indicates the specific areas and diagrammatic room layouts.  

A detailed listing of the facilities, fixtures and fittings is set out below.

BlueSeas

• BlueSeas accommodation offers self-catering facilities for up to six guests.  The internal areas include open planned living, dining and kitchen plus three bedrooms, bathroom, separate toilet and laundry.
• The three bedrooms comprise of a queen bed, double and bunk beds.  All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and built in wardrobes and are fully carpeted.  Case racks are provided in the queen and double bedrooms.  
• The bathroom has a shower, vanity and bath with a separate toilet.
• A fully equipped kitchen includes fridge/freezer, dishwasher, ceramic hotplates, range hood, fan forced wall oven and microwave.
• Laundry equipment includes trough, washing machine, clothes dryer, vacuum cleaner, iron and board.
• Split system inverter air conditioning services the living, dining and kitchen areas.
• Entertainment in the living area includes large screen colour TV, DVD, CD, video player, books and board games.
• A roofed and furnished deck with sea views to the mainland is accessed through full width glazed bi-folding doors from the living area.
• A carport is provided for on-site vehicle parking.  Two parking spaces only, including the carport, are available for on-site parking.
• The hot water service is provided via solar panels utilising stored rainwater.
• A four-burner gas barbeque and clothes line are provided.

GreenSeas (additional area)

• GreenSeas allows accommodation for an additional two guests by the addition of a further bedroom, sitting room, utility area, and bathroom.
• The bedroom has a queen bed and is equipped with a built in wardrobe, ceiling fan and case rack. A sliding glass door provides access to an external deck which opens directly into the Karatta Conservation Park.  The bedroom, sitting and utility area are fully carpeted.
• A split system air conditioner services the sitting room and utility area. The sitting room has a wide screen TV, two comfortable arm chairs and a table for two.
• The utility area has beverage/toast making facilities with a small sink, microwave and under bench refrigerator.
• No further on-site vehicle parking is available with the GreenSeas extension.
• The hot water service is provided via solar panels utilising stored rainwater.

For all facilities

• Bed linen, pillows, quilt covers, bath and hand towels, bath mats and tea towels are included.
• Highchair, change table and cot are available upon request and free of charge.
• Showers are self contained (not over a bath) and are generous in size (120cm x 90cm).  Shower mats are provided.
• Body wash, hand washing gel and hand lotion are provided.
• Kitchen “starters” including tea, coffee, some spices, food wraps, cooking oil etc are provided.
• All bedrooms are equipped with hard wired smoke detectors and a central auditable emergency alarm is installed in the passage.

Exclusions

• No pets are permitted on the site and no smoking allowed indoors.
